When you hire me to write your wedding vows and/or ceremony, you are hiring me, Jill Meyer - not a team of faceless writers. My career in the wedding industry stems from my former career as an innkeeper. My husband owned and operated two luxury properties Cape Cod for sixteen years. After coordinating and photographing small weddings at our properties, I was appointed as a Justice of the Peace which snowballed into a second career for me. One of my favorite aspects of being a Justice of the Peace is writing wedding ceremonies customized for each couple. I wanted to expand my scope of writing, so I created Write Weddings to help couples across the country write personal vows and wedding ceremonies, even if I'm not the one officiating for them.
About Write Weddings
How I Role
Every single wedding I have written and officiated is different. Each couple is different. It is important for me to get to know your history as a couple, your hopes for the future, and the style of wedding you envision. I will have you fill out a brief questionnaire to get the ball rolling and once I have a draft prepared, you can review it and we can make as many edits as you wish. When you book with me, I take a $50 refundable deposit and the rest is due upon completion of your vows and/or ceremony. My work is 100% guaranteed so if you aren't satisfied, your deposit will be refunded and no balance is due. I am very comfortable working with same-sex marriages as well as different cultural and religious backgrounds.
